3D Sculpting for Collectibles

CONTENT:
Professor Afrić will hold a lecture on the process and difficulties in the process of arriving at a collectible sculpture from two-dimensional concept art. Using a simple concept art sketch, a short demonstration will lead to a 3D sculpture while explaining the process.

ABOUT THE TUTOR:
WINTON AFRIĆ was born in 1980. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, and received his doctorate in information sciences from the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Zagreb. He is currently working at the University of Algebra. He has participated in a number of scientific congresses, signed numerous articles and is the co-author of two books in the field of informatics, theory and sociology of computer games.

Profesor Afrić će održati predavanje o procesu i poteškoćama unutar procesa dolaska do kolekcionarske skulpture iz dvodimenzionalnog koncept arta. Koristeći skicu jednostavnog konceptualnog arta kroz kratku demonstraciju doći će do 3D skulpture objašnjavajući proces.

O PREDAVAČU:
WINTON AFRIĆ rođen je 1980. Završio je Likovnu akademiju u Zagrebu, te doktorirao informacijske znanosti na Filozofskom fakultetu Sveučilišta u Zagrebu. Trenutno radi na visokom učilištu Algebra. Sudjelovao je na nizu znanstvenih kongresa, potpisuje brojne članke i suautor je dviju knjiga iz područja informatike, teorije i sociologije kompjutorskih igara.
