Plastic 3D Printing Forum - The Importance of Additive Manufacturing and How to Get Started
About this Event

Join us in person at CCAT’s Advanced Technology Center (ATC) located at 409 Silver Lane, East Hartford, CT.

This event is for companies that are exploring or considering implementing 3D printing (or those have recently added the capability) using plastic materials to make parts and to make manufacturing aids such as guides, fixtures, molds, gauges, etc. to help make their traditional manufacturing processes better or more efficient. If you’ve never heard of 3D printing or considered adding it to your business this is for you as well! 

Learning Objectives:

  • What is 3D Printing?
  • How are businesses using it and what can it mean for my business?
  • Why should I consider it for my business?
  • What do I need to understand to help me bring it into my business?

Target Audience:   Anyone interested in learning and exploring the benefits of implementing 3D printing.

CCAT's Advanced Technology Center (ATC) is located at the Raytheon Technologies Research Center which is adjacent to The Pratt & Whitney Campus at 409 Silver Lane, East Hartford, CT. CCAT is an export control facility and all visitors at CCAT’s Advanced Technology Center will be required to sign in and present proof of citizenship. Acceptable forms for identification include a verified license/ID, passport, green card, or birth certificate. Visitors who are citizens of an embargoed country and do not have a valid US Green Card will not be permitted in the facility. CCAT follows all current CDC, State of Connecticut and Town of East Hartford, CT COVID protocols.
