Create a charming 3D fabric Christmas tree that will make a beautiful festive decoration for your home. Designed to hang on a wall or door, this delightful tree combines, fabric, texture and dimension to create a unique Christmas project.
The tree is predominantly constructed using the sewing machine, making this a great opportunity to develop your machine sewing skills while creating something truly special. Some hand stitching and finishing will be required to complete your tree and add those final festive touches.
With guidance throughout the workhop, you'll learn how to assemble and shape your fabric tree, achieve a lovely three-dimensional effect and add the finishing details that bring your project to life.

You will need a sewing machine, basic sewing supplies, threads and fabrics. Detailed requirements will be emailed to you in advance of the class. Use your stash or shop for everything you need in store or online at Tudor Rose Patchwork.
Everyone is welcome however students need to be able to use a rotary cutter and stitch an accurate 1/4" seam.
Good to know:
The venue has parking. Upon arrival, park in the car park at the front of the shop. Unload your vehicle into your classroom. Staff will then advise you where to park your car for the day at the rear of the complex.
There is disabled parking and ramps allowing access to all areas. There is a disabled toilet.
Staff will help anyone in need of assistance. Shop on site selling an enormous range of goods relating to crafting: dressmaking, patchwork & quilting, knitting & crochet, sewing machines and furniture.
There is a coffee shop on site called O for Coffee. Attendees at our classes are visited by coffee shop staff regularly throughout the day to take any orders. Anything consumed during your day is sold at a 10% discount. As well as a large choice of hot and cold drinks, the menu comprises savoury choices including sandwiches, paninis, jacket potatoes and soups. For those with a sweet tooth, there is a selection of cakes and scones made in-house with gluten-free and vegan options.
