We will be doing a 3d mosaic mushroom class in the studio in early May! Bring mom for an early mother's day present or just bring a friend. This class is a mix of different media.
First we will mosaicking the mushroom using chipped glass and small white marbles for the spots. We also have fun flowers beads and leaf tiles to decorate the stem. The other great thing about this class is that the mushroom are made by a wood turner, so by coming to the class you are supporting multiple artists!
After it is grouted we will be using sand, rocks, and faux moss to resin onto a raw edge wood stand! These turn out so amazingly cute and sturdy. They measure about five inches tall for the stem and about four inches wide for the cap. These are two examples made by students in the studio!
