Want to create a free-standing fused glass animal without using any molds? These cute creatures make great gifts and will bring a smile to any animal lover! In this one day class, you will learn techniques for adding texture and movement to the critters through the use of various fused glass materials, glass paints, and fiber paper that will allow the critters to stand on their legs or fins. A discussion on how to rescale the patterns will be provided. Students will have a selection of patterns to choose from and can make one or two animals as time allows.
Basic glass cutting skills required. Please bring your own tools, including your favorite set of glass cutting/running/breaking tools, nippers, tweezers, etc., that you are most comfortable using.
