Then you will learn how to turn 5 needle weaving techniques into 8 different types of elements. Week 2 will focus on beaded embroidery techniques, where you will learn how to combine different bead types and techniques to create several types of anemones, corals, and background elements. In Week 3 we will go back to embroidery floss to learn how to continue fleshing out our design with 17 new techniques. Michelle is an up-and-coming fiber and wellness artist in the west side of Cincinnati. She specializes in crochet and embroidery, with over 5 years of experience in both, but is constantly expanding her skill set. Michelle sells various crochet, amigurumi, and upcycled items through her small business, plithora, which debuted last fall at Wooly Fest in Covington. Michelle is an active participant in the Cincinnati queer community, and she is always looking for more ways to offer inclusive art experiences for members of the LGBTQ+ community.
