What is Hospice Taste of the Town?
Hospice Taste of the Town is an annual community event and the primary fundraiser for Hospice of the Piedmont – a not-for-profit organization providing important hospice, palliative and bereavement care from its High Point and Asheboro offices.
How does the event work?
Restaurants, caterers and beverage vendors supply a diverse selection of dishes to sample or “taste.” With “taste tickets” in hand, attendees visit booths and purchase samples. It is a great time to try out different type of cuisines or a restaurant.
Your support matters.
Your participation in Taste of the Town benefits children, teens and adults in the community who need bereavement support through the Grief Counseling Center and Kids Path. These programs are offered to anyone who has experienced a loss regardless of their connection to Hospice of the Piedmont. These unreimbursed services rely on the generosity of the community through giving and special events like Taste of the Town.
All proceeds from Taste of the Town benefit Hospice of the Piedmont – a non-profit agency that provides medical, emotional, and spiritual care for terminally-ill patients and their families in eight counties – Guilford, Randolph, Davidson, Forsyth, Alamance, Chatham, Moore, and Montgomery.
