On Saturday, December 14, enjoy a parade of boats beautifully decorated for the holidays on Sarasota Bay. This annual event is presented by Suncoast Charities for Children and Marina Jack. Admission is free and the best viewing is from Bayfront Park and Marina Jack. Reservations are required in advance for Marina Jack and fill up quickly. Call 941-365-4232 to reserve your table now!
Guests are encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy, book, or gas/ grocery gift card which will be distributed by Suncoast Charities for Children to The Florida Center for Early Childhood, The Haven, and Children First for families in need. Lisa Baer and Lana Jackson serve as Co-Chairs for this year’s event. Celebrity judges select winners from both the private and corporate sector.
Registration is free to enter your vessel in the parade and cash prizes are awarded to first and second place in each category. Boat captains also receive captain thank you bags which include gift cards and great give away items.
