37th Annual North Carolina Shape Note Convention

Join us for the 37th Annual North Carolina Shape Note Convention!
The convention will be held on Saturday and Sunday, February 27 and 28, 2027, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day.
Each day, registration will open at 9:30 a.m., and singing will commence at 10:00 a.m. We will pause for a "Dinner on the Grounds" potluck lunch around noon, and then continue until about 3:30 pm.
Extra copies of the tune books, The Sacred Harp (2025), The Shenandoah Harmony, and The Valley Pocket Harmonist, will be available to borrow. Anyone is welcome to sing or to listen, and to stay for a little while or all day.
Due to a scheduling conflict at Pullen Baptist, this year's convention will take place at the Old Murphey School, 3717 Murphy School Road, Durham, NC 27705.
