Tautas deju concerts ATMODA savienos tradicionālo ar laikmetīgo konceptuāli un fiziski krāšņā priekšnesumā, kur balss, deja un dzeja stāstīs tautas atmodas stāstu - gan Latvijas vēsturiskos posmos, gan tagadējā pandēmijas laikā. Koncertā piedalīsies jauniešu tautas deju kopas 'Auseklītis' no Adelaides, 'Ritenītis' no Melburnas un 'Jautrais Pāris' no Sidnejas. Priekšnesumu kuplinās mūsu viesi 'BALSIS' no Latvijas. >>>|||<<<
We’ve spent the last few years sleeping. Hibernating and waiting. It’s time to awaken our senses, and our culture. The folk dance concert ‘ATMODA’ / ‘Awakening’ will combine traditional and contemporary styles within a conceptually and physically colourful performance, merging the voice, body, poetry into a story of national awakening. Both through Latvian history and modern-life post-pandemic. The concert will feature dance groups from Adelaide, Melbourne, and Sydney, with a guest feature by BALSIS from Latvia.
