   The British Isles will return to Tucson at the 36th Tucson Celtic Festival and Scottish Highland Games; Friday Nov. 4 through Sunday Nov. 6; at Rillito Raceway Park 4502 N. 1st Avenue Tucson.

    The three-day festival will feature Celtic Irish and Scottish music; Irish and Highland dancing; Scottish athletics; bagpipe bands; foods; beers; whiskies; fine crafts for sale; kids’ activities; and more.

    Crowd-pleasing Celtic bands scheduled are Tempest Celtic Nova Traveler Out of Kilters and the Noble McCoy Band. Plus Circus Farm will perform fire dancing.

    The three-day weekend festival will start with Friday’s Viking Night concert from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Concert admission is $20 for adults (age 16 and older); $15 for seniors military and students; and $5 for children under age 16.

    Saturday open hours are 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.; and Sunday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Admission ranges from $6 for kids to $23 for adults with military senior and student discounts. Sunday admission is less. Children (age 5 and younger) may enter free both days. Parking is free.

    Hosted by the non-profit Tucson Celtic Festival Association the annual event is the largest of its kind in Southern Arizona.
