About this Event
They say intimacy can be engineered—a deliberate sequence of truths designed to bypass the surface and accelerate the heart.
Inspired by the famous 36 questions developed to bridge the gap between strangers, this evening is a social experiment in accelerated closeness. We’re moving past the “what do you do” and into the “who are you.”
You’ll be paired with two different strangers over the course of the night, moving through a guided sequence of questions that get progressively more personal, playful, and provocative. It is a structured descent into vulnerability, designed to see what happens when we actually look at one another without the mask of small talk.
While the science was originally built for romance, we’re here to explore connection in all its forms—the platonic, the serendipitous, and the fleeting. You might laugh, you might be startled by your own answers, and you might learn something about yourself in the reflection of someone else’s eyes.
Come solo or bring a friend, but leave your expectations at the door. We can’t promise you won’t fall in love, but we can promise you won’t leave as a stranger.
