About this Event
FOOD, BOOKS, KARAOKE!
Celebrate the release of Jan M. Padios's debut book, , a literary architectural hybrid that sketches fault lines within a Filipinx family, linking intimate harm to the forces of colonialism and labor migration.
Padios will be in conversation with Annabelle Tometich, author of , a poignant and deceptively entertaining memoir of growing up as a mixed-race Filipina “nobody” in suburban Florida.
Entry is free, but please RSVP to help us gauge attendence.
Event begins on the Kaya patio at 7pm, but you can grab a bite from Kaya as early as 5pm.
Reading, conversation, Q&A and book signing will be followed by karaoke.
Books for sale by Burrow Press.
