33rd year Pomona Valley Family Jazz and Arts Festival

We are the original Juneteenth event on Saturday, June 17, 2023, it is free and open to the public. Enjoy delicious Cultural Foods, like Southern Bar-Be-Que, Catfish, Homemade cakes, and Tacos. Shop with the vendors. Raffles. Enjoy a day of live entertainment from JazzZone, some of the best in the I.E. and abroad. Guest artist TBA, Fun for the kids, and the swimming pool will be open. Juneteenth is the time in history when President Abraham Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation in 1863, news traveled slowly, so the last slaves in Texas, did not get free until June 19, 1865, 2 1/2 years later, which freed all people born on American Soil. It was then called Juneteenth Freedom Day. Now a holiday in the U.S.A. and recognized across the world. It is our second freedom day.
