Have you registered yet? The 33rd Annual Molecular Parasitology & Vector Biology Symposium hosted by the Center for Tropical and Emerging Global Diseases at the University of Georgia will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at the Georgia Center for Continuing Education.
This day-long regional conference on parasites and host/parasite interaction draws more than 200 attendees from many departments at UGA and colleagues from other institutions throughout the United States. Please register by Monday, April 22.
The day will feature two invited speakers:
Astra Bryant, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physiology & Biophysics at the University of Washington, Seattle.
David Sibley, Ph. D. is the Alan A. and Edith L. Wolff Distinguished Professor of Molecular Microbiology, School of Medicine at Washington University in St. Louis.
Graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and other researchers are encouraged to present their research in either an oral or poster presentation. Abstracts for these presentations are due by Monday, April 15.
There is no cost to attend the Symposium but registration is required by Monday, April 22.
