33rd Annual Midwest Regional LMSA Conference

The Midwest Region of the Latino Medical Student Association (LMSA) is excited to invite you to our 33rd Annual Conference: Sin Fronteras: Celebrating Latinx Excellence and Pioneering Tomorrow's Leaders in Medicine. Our conference will be held on February 10-12th, 2023 in Grand Rapids, Michigan and will be hosted by Michigan State University College of Human Medicine.

Our conference represents and will host over 150 medical and pre-medical students from Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. Our goal is to empower students to become leaders in their communities and lead the way for advancements in Latinx health. We hope to bring together health professionals, medical students, residents, and attending physicians to provide the opportunity to build mentorship, collaboration, and community.

We will have programming targeted towards premedical and medical students, with speakers who are experts and leaders in healthcare, policy, and advocacy. The poster and oral presentation sessions will provide the opportunity for students to share their research and achievements. Our conference not only provides opportunities for professional growth but also serves as a celebration of Hispanic/Latinx culture and community!
