The Scottish Society of Wilmington cordially invites you to attend the Society's 33rd Annual Burns Supper!
Join us and share in the tradition of a Burns Supper as we honor Scotland’s National Bard. Come enjoy the poems, the music, the toasts and the Address to a Haggis. Music by the Port City Pipes and Drums, and Galen Hunsucker and Rachel Tisdale.
We are honored to have as our guest the award-winning Highland dancer, musician, producer and educator, Jennifer Licko. Producer of the Highland Echoes shows and leader of the Scottish Cultural Outreach Foundation, Jennifer has graciously offered to demonstrate some Highland dances, but also to call a post-Supper Cèilidh for us!
There will also be a Silent Auction and a 50/50 raffle (credit cards will be accepted for the auction). There will be a cash-only bar and tickets are required. If you'd like to help out with the event, such as donating a Silent Auction item, setting up, or giving a toast, please let us know on the registration page. You will also need to choose your entree on the registration page.
Tickets:
$100 for Non-Members, includes a one-year Individual Membership in SSOW (may be used for renewal)
$80 for Members*
Price includes admission & dinner. Cash bar available. Reservations required by January 10, 2026
Following the Burns Supper, guests are invited to remain—or to join us—for a lively post-Supper Cèilidh, from 9:30 to 11:00 p.m. The evening will feature music, simple dances, and warm fellowship in the true Scottish tradition. Those wishing to participate in the cèilidh without attending the supper are most welcome to attend**. A cash bar (cash only) will be available during the cèilidh; no food will be served during this portion of the evening (unless there is haggis left!).
Highland Dress is encouraged but not required.
**You do not need to pay or register if you are only attending the cèilidh, but please refrain from arriving before 9:30 p.m.
