32nd Annual October Kite Festival at Haulover Park

This event is from 11am-6pm. The sky over Miami's Haulover Park will be filled with hundreds of colorful kites including dozens of giant show kites during the 32nd Annual Kite Festival!

10800 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, FL 33154

It is the biggest kiting event in Florida. Expect to see GIANT whale's, the 100-foot flying octopus and cuttlefish, the 30-foot flying Astronaut, the 300 sq foot parafoils, the 100 foot flying Stingray's and more!

We encourage our guests to make their kites in their traditional styles from countries they may want to represent and fly them! In years past we have had a traditional kites flown from the Bahamas, China, Colombia, Jamaica, Trinidad, Peru, Puerto Rico, Venezuela and many more. It is a fantastic way to celebrate the unique diversity of cultures that South Florida has.

People of all ages are encouraged to come out to fly their kites. There is no limitation to the size or type of kite. Those who just want to watch can bring a blanket and enjoy the sight of hundreds of kites in the air and some great music. Kites, Food, and Refreshments, will be available for purchase on-site.
