Titled “328 Keys 4-Hands 4-Feet: A Journey Thru the Ages”, Teodora Mitze-Cîrciumaru and Brent Douglas will be presenting an exceptional recital on piano and organ! The music selections will be from the Baroque through the Contemporary Eras. They will include “The Swan”, “Ave Maria” and variations on “He’s Got The Whole World In His Hands” and several more.
Teodora Mitze-Cîrciumaru is a native of Romania and earned her Master’s Degree in Musical Arts from the ‘Gh. Dima’ Music Academy in Cluj-Napoca (Romania) and plays organ, piano, harpsichord, celesta and harmonium. She has served as an organist and choir director at several churches, as well as producing projects for Radio Romania Broadcasting Company in Bucharest. She has performed concert tours in Austria, Hungary, Poland, Germany and the USA as well as her native Romania. She has been serving as UMCSCC’s organist, pianist and Assistant Worship Arts Director since January 2022.
Brent Douglas is an accomplished and passionate conductor, remarkable pianist, harpsichordist, and organist with an extensive background in symphonic, operatic, and choral genres. His illustrious career has taken him across the United States and overseas showcasing his musical prowess with The Florida Orchestra, St. Pete Baroque, The Springfield Symphony in Missouri, the Venice Symphony, The Sarasota Orchestra and the Naples Philharmonic Orchestra London Classical Players and the Berlin Sinfonietta. As an opera pianist and vocal coach, he has formed partnerships with acclaimed organizations including St. Petersburg Opera, Opera Tampa, the Springfield Regional Opera in Missouri, and the Savannah Voice Festival in Georgia.
