Join us on Sunday, May 19, 2024, from 12 PM - 4 PM at The Battlegrounds for a 32-gate twist on our standard RC 1/10th Scale Class 2 competitions. This 32-gate competition will be run within a 24-minute timeframe, featuring 3 courses, each allocated an 8-minute duration. Different from our standard comp, we will be eliminating 4 gates (2 start gates and 2 end gates), resulting in 30 progress gates with both one single start and endpoints.
As each driver reaches gate 10, the next driver will begin – for those who take a bit longer than the standard timing to get to gate 10, we’ll pause their time and scoring, allow another driver to pass, and then allow the original driver to continue with no point or time deduction.
If you run a smaller battery, you won’t be charged extra time or points for needing to stop and change the batteries.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three positions and everyone attending will have the chance to win over $500 worth of items in giveaways!
Comp admission: $25 per driver using their own crawler or $35 per driver with a rental crawling + comp admission. All ages are welcome!!
1/24th scale course will be open and available during all comps during the evening.
Competition Rules:
- Tires must be under 4.85” and 2.2” max on wheel size (tires can be siped, grooved, or trimmed)
- Full body must be run. No cab only trucks. Flatbeds are allowed (As long as frame rails)
- Dovetails are allowed (must be ½” from the widest part of the cab)
- Rail chassis only (No tube frames)
- Must have a front bumper. Can be mounted on a truck or molded into the body but must be wider than the frame rails.
- Rear bumpers are NOT required.
