Greetings!
We are excited to announce this year's CNYO Scout-O orienteering event at Highland Forest on November 9-10. We have a flier ready for distribution and encourage you to spread the word. See attached.

Again this year the basic two-day event will be extended to 15 days with self-serve opportunities for the troops that have scheduling conflicts. Overnight camping at the park is available on the main weekend of the event as is the traditional patrol competition which will be on Sunday, November 10.

We would also like to promote our permanent orienteering course at Pratt's Falls park, which is a great place for leaders to take their scouts for practice prior to the Scout-O. I have attached a flier for that as well. CNYO is having an Open House at Pratt's Falls on October 19, from 11 AM - 1 PM. On that day we'll be handing out maps and giving instruction to passers-by. Scouts and their families are most welcome!
