30th Annual Women of Excellence Awards

Founded in 1995, the Women of Excellence Awards have honored leaders across business, industry, public service, nonprofit, and beyond for three decades. The awards are presented by the Lafayette Commission on the Needs of Women, established by the Lafayette City-Parish Council in 1976 to advise local government on issues affecting women, advocate for equity, and promote opportunities for women and girls in the community. For thirty years, the Commission has carried out this mission by celebrating women whose contributions strengthen Acadiana. This year’s honorees continue the tradition of excellence by paving the way for greater opportunities and fostering a stronger community
