30th Annual Walk for Healthy Living & Health Food Tasting

You’re invited to join us for the Links Healthy Walk, a time to move for our health, support a local Black-owned business, and enjoy fellowship together!

The first 50 people to register for “walk & food tasting” get a FREE food tasting at Lyra’s Kitchen. Tastings and meals can also be purchased on your own at the venue

• Location: Stony Point Fashion Park
• Lyra’s Natural Kitchen – 9200 Stony Point Pkwy, Richmond, VA 23235

Schedule

• 9:30 AM – Meet at Lyra’s Natural Kitchen
• 9:45 AM – Walk the “Green Mile” together
• 11:00 AM – Natural food and drink tasting at Lyra’s (Black-owned, small business)

Cost: There is no cost to participate. Free food tasting for 50 first registration

September 27, 2025 will mark the 30th Anniversary of our Annual Walk for Healthy Living, which was initially launched in 1995 under the leadership of our 11th National President, Link Patricia Russell McCloud! With the participation of thousands of active and alumna members, we are poised to deliver a resounding message across the globe on the importance of good cardiovascular health in our communities.We look forward to walking in good health, celebrating community, and supporting local businesses with you!

The Links, Incorporated has a celebrated history of advocating for positive change and Link Up The Vote is a testament to our unwavering commitment to social action. By actively engaging in voter registration, information, activation, and voter mobilization, we are not only exercising our civic duty, but we are also empowering others to do the same.

At our Walk this year, we are providing helpful non-partisan voter registration polling information.

For the past two years, our chapter has partnered with the Women in the NAACP (Henrico Branch) to ensure voter awareness information is available at our events and to conduct Voter Registration. The NAACP is a national partner of The Links Incorporated.
