At Jeremiah's Inn, our commitment is to serve the community and provide essential support to those in need. Each year, we assist over 7,000 families with emergency food and essential household items, ensuring that no one has to face hunger alone. However, the need is greater than ever before, and we cannot do this work without your helpFrom June 3rd to June 9th, there will be collection boxes stationed at Shaw's Supermarkets in Worcester, collecting food and essential items from generous patrons. Staff and volunteers will be on-site June 8th & 9th collecting food and funds and spreading awareness about hunger and food insecurity in our community. Whether it's canned goods, non-perishable items, or monetary gifts, every contribution counts. These donations enable us to continue our vital work of providing food assistance to those in need.
For those unable to make it to the supermarkets in person, online donations are most welcomed and can be made through the Jeremiah's Inn website at www.jeremiahsinn.com/food-drive. There is also a list of the most requested items, many of which are available on our Amazon Wishlist which is also linked there. Every donation, regardless of size, helps to ensure that Jeremiah's Inn can fulfill its mission of alleviating hunger and providing essential household items to individuals and families who need our support.
