February 11th-July 12th, 2026Mentoring teachers is one of the most fulfilling parts of being the lead teacher in the Yoga Journey Teacher Training Program. In order for you to enroll in the Mentoring and Leadership Program, you must have already completed a 200 Hour Teacher Training. That training could be from Yoga Journey or from another school. The 300+ is the next step in your teaching journey. I believe that 200 hours is really just the beginning for any teacher. It is at this point that most trainees realize how much more there is to learn. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and many years leading trainings, I have learned a lot about group dynamics and learning styles. This program takes a unique approach to advance the learning and the teaching skills of each participant.
This +300 Mentorship and Leadership Program combines group learning with other teachers, and a chance to be in the role of the teacher with trainees in an entry level group. So not only are you being mentored, you are also mentoring others. As you learn, you also teach….The program is further enhanced by having one-on-one sessions with me to address your specific needs. In this way I can share the relevant and necessary curriculum with the group and then focus on each individual trainee and where they need to learn and grow as a teacher. Graduates come out of the 200 Hour Training Programs with many strengths and weaknesses. My job is to observe each +300 trainee and work with you to uplevel your education and help you to find your unique voice as a teacher.
You will not only be learning and teaching, you will be practicing yoga, writing/creating classes, doing case studies, observations and assists to get hands on experience throughout the program.
This integrated approach allows each participant to teach and learn in a multidimensional way and benefit from each other’s presence. The common goal here is a commitment to continued learning and teaching yoga. I hope you will choose to take this next step in your yoga journey with me.
