On October 17th for the As1 Events launch show El - B returns to Leeds for his first headline set in over 2 years. The legendary El - B will be delivering a 2 hour set, a journey through the sounds that defined the past 30 years of his career.
He originally made his name as part of the infamous Groove Chronicles outfit, being the first artist to bring a dark edge to UK Garage with tracks like ‘Stone Cold’ and ‘1999’ then through his own Ghost Records imprint, he sculpted and defined the modern dubstep sound and famously inspired the illustriuous talents of Burial, Benga, Skream and countless others.
The rest of the lineup of Felixculpah, Gnasha, Krotone and 4 Feet Under have been carefully curated to provide a cohesive 5 hour musical journey through garage, dubstep and breakbeats, both past and present.
The event will feature a state of the art immersive 360 setup, with live audio visual elements and high production quality, transforming Freedom Mills into a completely new space.
