About this Event

3-Week (18-hour) Workshop:

Ages: 12+ and Adults

Class Schedule: Saturdays

  • Class 1: Sat. May 25 (12:00 - 6:00 PM)
  • Class 2: Sat. June 1(12:00 - 6:00 PM)
  • Class 3: Sat. June 8 (12:00 - 6:00 PM)

L ocation: Storyboot School, Manitobah Headquarters at The Forks (Johnston Terminal - 4th Floor) 401-25 Forks Market Road, Winnipeg, MB

Open to all to register and no cost for Indigenous youth (First Nations, Metis, Inuit) up to the age of 30.

Designed to teach beading and leatherwork hand sewing techniques. The Instructor will guide you step-by-step to create moccasins by hand including pattern-making, beadwork, design, construction, and care for your finished product. You will be provided with all the necessary tools to complete your project.

Space is limited. Workshop fees are non-refundable, however if a situation arises and you are unable to attend, you are welcome to attend an alternate future class.
