In this 5 hour workshop you will learn all things 3 high! Come stack some friends together and learn how to be tall in this fun and safe environment. The workshop will very much be tailored to whoever shows up, so whether you are brand new to 3 highs, or have lots of experience Heidi will ensure that this workshop is engaging for you.
Heidi is a circus artist specializing in group acrobatics, hand-to-hand, and slackline. She is a certified yoga and acroyoga instructor, and co-teaches the Acroyoga Montreal Teacher Training. She has performed with Cirque Branché, Eloize, 7 Fingers and in alternative circus projects. A former architect, Heidi fosters a structural yet holistic approach to her movement practice and teaching. She loves expanding her physical and mental comfort zone, and in 2018 and 2019, crossed two record-length highlines measuring 2 kilometers each. Heidi loves exchanging with movement communities wherever she goes, as well as picking up new languages and consolidating familiar ones. Movement practices for her are a way to connect, awaken our curiosity, discover new pathways, and fine-tune the instrument of our bodies for lifelong learning, health and joy. In her workshops, Heidi strives to create a safe and uplifting container for practitioners to explore, move, and create in community.
