3 Gun Intro Class & Practice at the Sportsman’s Club of Franklin County, 9AM-3PM. Please arrive by at least 8:30AM so we are ready for the 9:00AM start.

This introduction class is for shooters looking to get involved in the exciting sport of 3 Gun shooting. Some firearms handling experience is required. This is not an intro to firearms class.
Minimum equipment required:
· Eye and ear protection
· Pistol: 9mm or greater, belt mounted OWB holster and mag holders.
· Rifle: mag fed semi automatic, 223 Rem or greater for Tactical/Open division, OR Pistol Caliber Carbine 9mm or greater, mag holders for the caliber you use
· Shotgun: 12 gauge, pump or semi, shell caddy or holders for shotgun shells, 7 1/2 birdshot typical, occasionally slugs are required
· Ammo: NO steel core/jacketed ammo allowed. This damages the metal targets. Only lead or lead core with copper jacket (FMJ, JHP, etc.) projectiles are permitted. Test with a magnet, if the tip of the bullet sticks, it is not permitted.
· For this class consider a minimum of50 rounds each for pistol and rifle, and 30 rounds for shotgun. There maybe additional time for more practice after the class, feel free to bring more ammo.
All of the ammo required per stage must be carried on your person. Consider some stages can require up to 30 pistol, 30 rifle, and 25 shotgun rounds each!
Brings plenty of drinks and lunch/snacks.
