3-Day Dandeli Itinerary

Day 1:

• Departure: Leave for Dandeli from your city (Bangalore or nearby) around 10:00 PM by car or bus. The journey takes about 8-10 hours.
• Overnight Travel: Enjoy the overnight journey through scenic roads.

Day 2:

• Arrival in Dandeli: Reach Dandeli early in the morning (around 6:00 - 8:00 AM). Check into your resort/homestay and freshen up.
• Breakfast: Enjoy a hearty breakfast at your stay.
• Water Activities on the Kali River: Spend the morning enjoying thrilling water sports like white-water rafting kayaking coracle rides and river swimming in the Kali River.
• Lunch: Return to your resort/homestay for lunch.
• Syntheri Rocks: In the afternoon visit Syntheri Rocks a massive limestone rock formation surrounded by the dense Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary. Explore the area and enjoy the serene surroundings.
• Nature Walk/Leisure Time: Spend your evening either relaxing at your stay or taking a nature walk around the resort to soak in the natural beauty of Dandeli.
• Dinner: Have dinner at your resort/homestay and unwind with an overnight stay.

Day 3:

• Dandeli Wildlife Safari: Start your day early with a jungle safari in the Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary. This is the perfect chance to spot exotic wildlife like tigers elephants black panthers and various bird species.
• Breakfast: After the safari return to your stay for breakfast.
• Visit Kavala Caves: Post breakfast visit Kavala Caves known for their ancient rock formations and Shiva temple. Be prepared for a short trek and adventure as you explore the cave.
• Lunch: Return to the resort for lunch.

• Ulavi Temple: On your way back visit the Ulavi Temple a popular pilgrimage spot nestled in the lush green surroundings of the Western Ghats.
• Lunch: Have lunch en route.
• Departure: Begin your return journey in the afternoon to reach your home city by late evening (around 8:00 - 10:00 PM).
