3-Day Plein Air Workshop with Thomas BradshawExploring Light and Shadows in the Landscape

Join Thomas Bradshaw as he teaches a 3-day Plein air workshop where students will go in-depth learning how to paint Plein air with oil. Students will explore how to simplify a technically difficult scene. Students will work from a limited pallet and learn how to achieve unlimited colors, while exploring how to use color temperature and build colors from dark to light. Students will work alla prima, which simply means to work start to finish in one session. Bradshaw will teach students new and invigorating techniques behind the brush, along with the knife. Basic knowledge of painting is required. Since the workshop will take place outside and weather can be unpredictable, please dress accordingly and bring extra layers.
*A supply list will be given at registration.
Cost per student for the 3-day workshop is $475.00.
Registration deadline is Saturday, April 8 by 5pm.
