3-Day Nurturing Fathers’ Facilitator Training - May 5, 6, & 7, 2026

***This three-day training workshop will take IN PERSON in Worcester, Massachusetts - Attendees must commit to attending all three days of training***

VENUE:

This training will take place at Seven Hills Behavioral Health on Gold Star Boulevard in Worcester, Massachusetts.

DESCRIPTION:

This training is the ideal starting place for new parent educators as well as those with experience who are new to Mark Perlman's Nurturing Fathers’ curriculum. Specific topics include: behavior management, personal power, effective communication, family support principles, and the building of a positive self-concept. The training also addresses Nurturing Fathers’ Program implementation and the whys and hows of father engagement.

TRAINING OBJECTIVES:

Through a mix of small and large group discussions, participatory lecture, interactive exercises, and group practice session activities, participants will:

• gain understanding in the Philosophy of Nurturing® Parenting Programs

• learn the steps for implementing the Nurturing Fathers’ Program

• learn effective methods for increasing positive parenting and enhancing relationships

• learn a strength-based approach to working with fathers

• increase their readiness to facilitate the Nurturing Fathers’ Program
