3-day hands-on training in Echo for beginners May 24-26, 2024

The aim of this course is to provide supervised hands -on training for beginners.

Junior or newly graduate sonographers, cardiologists or fellows, cardiothoracic doctors, nurses, and anesthesiologists with knowledge in cardiac anatomy and with interest in echocardiography and want to learn or improve their scanning skills.

Days 1, 2 and 3 will cover the Anatomy of the heart, how to image the heart using Echo, Probes used, views taken, cardiac chambers and valves, Doppler and M-mode, calculations and measurements taken, what your echo report should include, what are the frequently seen abnormalities and what and how to measure, knowledge practice with MCQ and cases, and lots of Hands-on.

Training given by highly qualified cardiac sonographers with more than 20 years of experience.

· 10:45-11:15 am: Test your knowledge with MCQ

· 11:15-12:00 pm: Test you Knowledge with cases
