About this Event

Happiness is something that each one of us has the potential to experience, but often our habitual ways of thinking take us in the opposite direction. Buddha’s teachings offer a practical path to cultivating simple mental attitudes that foster genuine, lasting well-being. In each class of this series we will explore, through teachings and guided meditations, how we can nurture powerful mental habits that fend off gloom and negativity, and bring a freeing lightness of heart and mind.

By training in these simple and uplifting habits during each weekly session you will learn how to carry a sense of inner peace into your daily activities, relationships, and challenges. Whether you are new to meditation or looking to refresh your practice, you will discover how a small shift in perspective can fundamentally change your experience of the world, making every moment an opportunity for inner development and mental peace.

Series Outline:

  • Week 1: Equanimity
  • Week 2: Joy
  • Week 3: Gratitude
