About this Event
We often search for solutions to our problems by trying to change our external circumstances— our jobs, our relationships, or our surroundings. But what if the most effective solution is an internal one?
During this 3-class series, we will explore the profound and ancient practice known as "Exchanging Self with Others." This practice isn’t about neglecting yourself; it’s about finding a more expansive, resilient, and joyful way of being through a process of mental transformation. By learning the art of Exchanging Self with Others, you will come to see for yourself how a small shift in our habitual way of thinking is able to profoundly shift the experiences in our life for the better — unlocking an inexhaustible source of mental peacethat remains steady even when life gets difficult.
Series Outline:
- Week 1: The Benefits of Cherishing Others – Discovering how a simple shift in attitude is the ultimate source of our own happiness and the solution to all our problems.
- Week 2: Equalising Self with Others – Discovering the common ground we share with everyone and why this is the foundation of inner peace.
- Week 3: The Faults of Self-Cherishing & The Actual Exchange – Identifying the root of our problems and actually training in the practice of Exchanging Self with Others.
