Known as one of the most talented and promising Kathak dancers and choreographers,

Amruta Paranjape is recognized for her electrifying performances and innovative creations.

Trained under Guru Shambhavi Dandekar ji and Taalyogi Pandit Suresh Talwalkar ji,

she beautifully blends clarity of movement, grace, and depth of bhaav in her art. Her

choreographies often explore unconventional themes while remaining deeply rooted in

tradition.

She has performed at prestigious festivals and venues across India; renowned platforms like

the Raindrops Festival, Ananta Festival, Aura festival, and also performed at the ‘Make in

India’ launch ceremony in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. She has also

conducted workshops and performed abroad in Portugal, the UK, the USA, China, and

Japan. She is the recipient of esteemed honors such as the Pandit Vishnu Digambar

Paluskar Award, Pta. Rohini Bhate Puraskar (Municipal corporation), and the Golden

Talent Award received at the hands of Pt. Birju Maharaj ji. Amruta is an ICCR empanelled

artist and a graded Doordarshan performer. As a choreographer, she has presented

solo and group productions named 'Cage’

, Ratha-kalpana’ and ‘Sohe Shyam’ at prestigious

platforms like the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre and the Madam Menaka

Choreography Movement. She also serves as a Kathak Guru on the panels of Pune

University and Bharati Vidyapeeth and is the Founder and Artistic Director of Abhivyakti

School of Kathak, Pune.
