3 1/2 hour Womens Refresh EventWomen, do you crave a moment to be alone, quiet, and still in nature? This is your opportunity to schedule time for You this month before the holidays are upon us. You are invited on Saturday, November 22, 8:30am-12 to take a pause and to breathe. Treat yourself to a little intentional peace and quiet while being outside. Join me on my old country property near Port Royal State Park to enjoy the beauty of old trees, graceful land, old barns, an 1832 cemetery, and untamed woods
Our small group of women will gather around a camp fire and have some short introductions in the group, hear an inspiring thought around the fire with hot apple cider or hot tea, and muffins, then we will have a time to spread out by ourselves onto the country property or stay by the fire quietly to gather your thoughts, think, doodle, read, or just close your eyes and listen to nature.
We will take 45+ minutes to be alone spread out around the property. We will then move on to the untamed woods for a different setting for another 45+ minutes to be by yourself. We will end back at the campfire for a short debrief together.
The goal is to make space for you to settle your mind and to be still in a safe environment outside in nature.
If this resonates with a need to take time for yourself, register today. 12 spots are available. If we have rainey weather, the alternate date will be Dec 6.
Wear comfortable warm clothing appropriate for being outside, and good walking shoes for the woods.
Bring something to sit on that is easy to carry to the property and the woods, like a towel or piece of plastic, or a camp chair.
Bring a book to read or notepad, a journal or drawing pad and pens to use during your alone time. Also bring a cozy blanket if you wish or a hammock. Consider turning off your phone during this quiet time.
I will provide a coloring sheet and a pad of paper with colored pencils, and bottled water.
Because there are animals like moles, ground hogs and deer that dig on our property, the ground can be uneven. Walnuts also pose some uneven, rolly walking conditions in some spots. There can be thornes in the woods and there is some barbed wire to be aware of. Therefore, a release form, provided once registered, will be needed for this event.
A refund is available up until Nov 14th. This gives time to fill your spot. Cost is $30. Your spot is saved when payment is received. Pay through PayPal at [email protected].
Please message me with any questions you have.
Your host, Lynda Willms
