2SIQ: Still Here Fest!
When colonizers stepped foot on Turtle Island they targeted Two-Spirit Indigenous people for elimination. Spreading like a disease, colonial forces have imposed gender regimes on First Nations and Indigenous people all over the world.
Since time immemorial, Two-Spirit and Indigequeer people are still here and continue to survive and thrive against all odds, providing leadership and medicine for our communities as they always have.
Two-Spirit & Indigequeer is more than just a reclaimed identity for indigenous people. It is a committed role to the Land, to the Next Generation, to our Ancestors. We share our experiences through storytelling unique to one's self, bridging connections throughout the continent.
Still Here is a celebration of Two-Spirit Indigequeer living artist expressions, a miraculous existence and survival for over 500 years.
Featuring all Two Spirit Indigequeer artists, an interactive fashion showcase, an Indigenous arts market, music and performances by:

Sliding Scale $1-1000 with a suggestion of $15. All proceeds benefit Sogorea Te' Land Trust's, urban Indigenous women led land return work.
Sogorea Te’ wants to increase accessibility for our community as a whole.
We strongly encourage masks & will be provided upon arrival.
