Event Description: In this hands-on 90-minute workshop, expectant parents will begin preparing for the physical and emotional experience of labor by exploring practical movement, breathwork, and birth planning tools. Whether you're months from your due date or just starting to think about birth preferences, this session will help you feel more connected to your body and more confident in your ability to make informed, values-aligned decisions.

In Early Birth Planning + Body Prep, we’ll introduce gentle prenatal movement and positioning practices that can support labor progress and comfort, as well as breathwork and coping strategies to manage pain and stress. You'll gain a clearer understanding of various birth options and pain relief methods—both medical and holistic—and leave with guidance for creating a flexible, personalized birth plan that reflects your values and priorities.

This is the third session in our rotating Prenatal Workshop Series for second trimester parents (15+ weeks). Each workshop is designed to stand alone, so you’re welcome to drop in anytime based on your schedule or interests. Whether you're looking to prepare your body, explore your options, or simply feel more grounded, this session offers a thoughtful and supportive starting point.

Meet Your Instructor: Emma Andriotis

Emma is a devoted mother of two and a passionate holistic birth and postpartum doula serving families across South Jersey and parts of Pennsylvania. She believes deeply in each person’s innate wisdom and strength to birth their baby and is committed to providing compassionate, personalized care throughout the perinatal journey.

Emma offers a wide range of services including birth and postpartum doula support, lactation guidance, babywearing education, and holistic practices that nurture the mind, body, and spirit.
