About this Event
Art & 2nd Saturday go together like Pizza & Beer and what better way to combine them all and creating your original masterpiece! Come join us for a fun morning, sangrias to toast, and getting your hands on some clay!
Each session includes choice of sangria (red or white), clay, instruction by Carey Shaw, glazing (the paint of clay) and the cost of 2 firings (the baking of the clay)-bisque and glaze firings!
Carey is a local artist and teacher with over 20 years of Ceramics experience! She has taught high school ceramics and now gives private lessons and small group classes to adults and children from her studio space! Clay is a medium that SHE LOVES! It is extremely relaxing to create with this natural material and just downright fun to get your fingers dirty! Come join us for 2nd Saturdays this Summer at Federalist Public House, get your drink on, and create a handmade piece of art!
*You can pick up your pieces on the next second Saturday after your session at 12pm at Federalist! It will be fired, glazed and ready to use!
