2nd OUTbio June Event

Hello OUTbio,

We are thrilled to announce that for the first time, we are offering two June Pride month events this year. Our second June OUTbio event will be hosted by BioMed Realty with additional support from Entrada. The event will be held on Tuesday June 25th from 5:00-7:30 pm ET at the Vitamin Sea Beer Garden located in Termeer Square at 300 Athenaeum Street, Cambridge. This is the same location where the ice rink is located during the winter months.

This event will be unique in that we will be offering a fun fitness and ice breaker activity through a collaboration with Inner City Weightlifting (ICW). The activity will be completly optional but nothing too strenuous. More details will follow. There will also be a DJ on hand for the duration of the event.

Our events have been reaching capacity very quickly and in an effort to allow more OUTbio members to attend, registration will be limited to one ticket. Also, if you register to attend but your plans change, please cancel your registration as soon as possible so that others from the waitlist can attend.

As we have done for the past few events, we will be holding some "tickets" for those that have NEVER attended an OUTbio event. Please email Ramsey at [email protected] if you are unable to register for this event before it reaches capacity and have not attended previously.

Also, as was stated previously, one of our commitments in 2024 is to create an even more safe and inclusive environment for members of the LGBTQ+ community, especially at our monthly events. To that end, we will be actively trying to get more women and people of color (POC) to attend our events. If you know a woman or POC that is not a member of OUTbio and/or has never been to one of our events, please email Ramsey at [email protected]. The individual will receive a personal invitation to join OUTbio's mailing list and will be manually registered for the next OUTbio event, even if the Eventbrite event is sold out.

Just a note that this event is not to be confused with our June 6th event at Blueprint. Also, just a reminder that OUTbio is walking in the Boston Pride for the People Parade on June 8th. There are still a few spots left to walk with us. Registration is open for the Parade on Eventbrite.
