The Department of English and Literary Studies, School of Liberal Arts, University of Management and Technology, Lahore, is pleased to announce the 2nd International URISE Symposium 2027, organized in collaboration with CEPFA, SLA, UMT.
Theme: Texts, Tunes, and Textures: Music, Literature, and Fashion as Cultural Expression
The symposium will be held from 5–7 January 2027 at UMT Lahore. It brings together scholars, researchers, students, artists, performers, designers, and cultural practitioners to explore the intersections of literature, music, fashion, performance, media, identity, memory, and cultural expression.
Submissions are invited in the form of research papers, panel proposals, individual presentations, creative readings, musical performances, fashion-based cultural showcases, poster presentations, workshops, and practice-based research presentations.
