Welcome to Pinellas Diaspora Arts Project, Inc. (PDAP)’s 2nd Community Tech Day (CTD)! This year, we are excited to once again offer community education in South St. Petersburg. Community Tech Day (CTD) brings interactive digital experiences that combine artificial intelligence and virtual reality along with app-building, science tools, entrepreneurial tech and learning games to explore STEAM -- Science, Tech, Engineering, Art and Math! PLUS - this year features a mini-app building class and Mini drones with Florida Education Fund CodeMasters!
***11 am*** CTD will hold "Urban Farming and Environmental Sustainability" Panel sponsored by the Tampa Bay Afrofuturism Festival, featuring The St. Pete Youth Farm, One Community Grocery Coop, and other speakers. Followed by:
***12 Noon*** Community Lunch sponsored by One Community Grocery Coop!
***1 pm - 4 pm*** three hours of hands-on tech, beginning at 1 pm, featuring
• Creating prompts with ChatGPT
• KidGeni AI – student friendly Ai art
• Student Ethical use of AI Tech
• Oculus Virtual reality (VR) experience
• Eckerd College Instructor-led mini-robots
• STEM education products
• Entrepreneurial Tech Education with Greg Buckshon/Rare Collective LLC
• 3D Printing & Avatar Creation
