Learning Skills (CO-ED)
Info: Communication Skills (CO-ED)
Teach respectful speaking, active listening, eye contact, tone of voice, introducing yourself, asking for help, handling disagreements, and responding to peer pressure. Include short role-play exercises so the kids can practice real situations.
Team Building (CO-ED)
Focus on cooperation, trust, leadership, patience, responsibility, problem-solving, and learning how to work with different personalities. Small team challenges would work well here.
Values & Self-Worth (CO-ED)
Cover honesty, respect, responsibility, kindness, integrity, self-control, accountability, confidence, and making good choices. Have each child identify personal values they want to live by.
Personal Hygiene & Body Care
Teach proper bathing, washing underarms, feet, private areas and skin folds, changing underwear and socks daily, deodorant use, brushing and flossing teeth, hair care, nail care, clean clothing, and proper handwashing.

Discuss menstrual hygiene, proper wiping front to back, body odor, puberty changes, skin care, breast development, personal cleanliness, and how to recognize when they should speak with a trusted adult.

Discuss proper body and genital hygiene, body odor, deodorant, changing underwear, skin care, voice changes, body hair, puberty changes, and taking responsibility for personal cleanliness.

Info: Puberty & Growing Up (CO-ED)
Explain that everyone develops at a different pace. Discuss normal physical and emotional changes, growth spurts, acne, body hair, sweating, changing emotions, and respecting their changing bodies.
Boundaries & Healthy Choices
Teach personal space, saying no, respecting someone else’s no, inappropriate touching, online safety, inappropriate pictures or messages, peer pressure, and speaking to a trusted adult when something makes them uncomfortable.
Questions and Anwers

Allow the boys and girls to submit questions privately. Leaders can answer appropriate questions during the separated sessions without identifying who asked them.
