2nd Annual Welcome Summer in Franklin Square Park

Get together with family, friends and other Franklin Square and Lakefront residents to celebrate the start of summer in our beautiful park!
About this Event

Neighborhood residents are invited to celebrate the first day of summer and the early summer blooms of the gardens in this beautiful public space.

Bring your family and friends for an afternoon filled with music, activities and community spirit.

• Live music: Harmonic Dirt - Band, 1:00 - 2:30pm and Amy Hueber - Harp, 2:30 -3:30pm

• Bring your own lawn chairs. Some bench seating is available

• Free snacks and refreshments will be available

• Fun activities for all ages - Syracuse Parks mobile recreation, games, face painting

• Paint a clay flower pot, fill with soil and add a plant to bring home

• Plant swap - Bring rooted cuttings of your favorite house plants to share or swap

• Information tabling by local organizations

• Off street parking available at 443 N Franklin St. Enter on N. Franklin Street and head north on the Creekwalk or Franklin St sidewalk to the park.

This event is being organized by the Lakefront TNT with funding provided by the Syracuse Citywide TNT organization.
