2nd Annual Space Nation Day at The Petroleum Museum

Join us as we step into the New Space Era! The is excited to announce that it will host the 2nd annual Space Nation Day on Sunday, May 19th, starting at 2 PM. Admission is free. The event will feature former NASA astronaut Michael Good and other leaders in space, presenting the first Moon Pioneers Mission by Space Nation in Midland, why we go to space, and how Midland is at the center of it.

Inspire your kids with exciting space activities and challenge yourself with a special space mission challenge for adults and students with a grand prize of a free, all-inclusive VIP ticket for Space Nation’s upcoming Moon Pioneers Missions worth $10,000 and other prizes for all ages. Take selfies with Space Nation astronauts wearing their space suits and enjoy the offerings of local food trucks while experiencing a taste of outer space and a sense of adventure. The Petroleum Museum invites everyone to join the Space Nation Day celebration.

Midland is at the heart of the global human spaceflight ecosystem. Midland International Air & Space Port is surrounded by 9 current and planned American Spaceports. To the west are Blue Origin and Virgin Galactic launch sites, otherwordly training sites of Apollo astronauts. There is Space X's Starbase to the south, and to the east, NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston.

T his and the rich pioneering, aerospace, and wildcatter history of Midland and West Texas made Space Nation choose it as its future base of global operations and as the location for the upcoming Moon Pioneers Mission.

Catering for lunch has been arranged. Browns BBQ will be catering and have some vegan options (all sides except for the mac & cheese will also be vegan).
