The Dallas–Fort Worth Tuskegee Alumni Club is bringing back our signature scholarship celebration and this year, we're doing it bigger.
Join us Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 11 AM to 2 PM at Krimson Park for the 2nd Annual Southern Soul Scholarship Brunch. This event will be an afternoon of legacy, leadership, and Tuskegee pride benefiting the next generation of Mother Tuskegee's legacy.

Keynote: Dr. Lonnie Johnson
We are honored to welcome Tuskegee's own Dr. Lonnie Johnson, engineer, entrepreneur, NASA veteran, and inventor of the legendary Super Soaker as this year's keynote speaker. Anchored in the theme of Engineering and Innovation, Dr. Johnson's story is a powerful reminder of what Booker's Kids can accomplish when brilliance meets purpose.
A Send-Off Worth Celebrating
This year's brunch combines our Student Back-to-School Send-Off and DFWTAC Scholarship Presentations. That means our incoming and returning Tuskegee students will receive their scholarships, be celebrated, and be inspired by Dr. Johnson as they prepare to head to Mother Tuskegee.
