Come and connect with local organizations and institutions that help protect and conserve the Wakarusa River Valley and beyond through science, artwork, writing, and more.10 am - 2 pm: Tecumseh Hall
Learning and connecting with local and regional organizations and institutions that help care for Kansas lands and our more-than-human relatives.
11 Am & 1 PM: “LandBack to the Future” Showing
A hyperlocal mini-documentary produced by RVCC Research Fellow, Brendan McInerney, over the ongoing fight to save the Wakarusa Wetlands.
2:30 pm - 4 pm: Haskell Land Tour w/ the Haskell Greenhouse
We hope to see the community come together to join us for this day to celebrate the histories, cultures, and ecologies of the sacred Haskell Wetlands!
