SAVE THE DATE: Our Annual Country Dance Trip is Heading to KC!
Hey Dance Family!
The tradition continues! I’ve officially taken over the planning for our annual country dancing getaway, and we’re heading back to Kansas City for another unforgettable weekend. We’ve been building these memories for over seven years, and we aren't stopping now!
This event is now officially hosted by BootsBeatsLife.com, Steppin' Out Magazine, and our Facebook group, Country Music and Dance Halls. We also have Oggie Photography joining us all weekend to capture every spin and line dance on camera!
I will be creating the official Facebook event page very soon, but I wanted to get this preliminary information out now so everyone can start marking their calendars.

🗓️ THE TENTATIVE LINEUP
* Thursday, Oct 1st: Early arrival for the "get-the-party-started" crew!
* Friday, Oct 2nd: Main arrival day. We’ll kick things off at a major KC country club for our first night of dancing.
* Saturday, Oct 3rd:
- Morning: The traditional Saturday Morning Brunch! We’re scouting the best buffet-style venues in KC to host our group.
- Afternoon: Western wear shopping excursion! We are skipping the Springfield stop this year and will be hitting up a local Kansas City shop to refresh our gear instead.
- Night: We’re taking over MO Country in Grain Valley, home to the largest line dancing floor in the Midwest!

🏨 LODGING INFORMATION
* Hotel Blocks: I am currently gauging interest for a hotel room block with group discounts. If you want a room at a local hotel, please message me directly or comment below. If we have enough interest, I’ll secure a block of rooms for us!
* AirBnBs: For those who prefer renting a house with a group, please remember that I am not facilitating AirBnB rentals. You’ll need to coordinate those on your own.
