This is our 2nd Annual Community School Readiness Event. This year the theme is BREAKTHROUGH. 🔥In 2025, we showed up to Heartwood with 200 fully stocked backpacks for Gainesville families. Mostly out of pocket. The City of Gainesville came out. The Fire Department came out.
The community showed up for itself.
Year 2 is bigger. And it's free.
Here is what to expect:
🎒 Free backpacks and school supplies for K-12 students
🍕 Free food and refreshments
🎵 Live music
🚲 Bike giveaways
🎪 Experiences and activities
🏛️ Community vendors and local speakers
Our goal is 300 to 350 families. Every kid who comes through goes home set for day one.
